Britany Barber
Au.D.

Dr. Britany Barber graduated with her B.A. in speech and hearing sciences and psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Iowa in 2010. She graduated with her doctorate of audiology from the University of Iowa in 2014 after completing her clinical residency at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Barber holds the Nevada state licensure for audiology. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certification of Clinical Competency (CCC-A). Dr. Barber is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA).

Dr. Barber worked at a variety of clinical settings while completing her graduate program, including rotations at the Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Clinic, the University of Iowa Adult Cochlear Implant Clinic, and the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Iowa City. She also assisted with vestibular balance assessments at an ENT clinic and conducted hearing evaluations and FM system fittings with an Iowa Area Education Agency.

Dr. Barber’s passion for the field of audiology drives her to continually expand her knowledge base. She is committed to providing her patients with the best hearing healthcare through individualized assessments and a thorough understanding of her patient’s needs. She is dedicated to improving her patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Barber moved to Las Vegas from Phoenix, Arizona in June 2014; however she is originally from Iowa. She loves living in the desert as it means she doesn’t have to worry about snow! In her free time, Dr. Barber enjoys catching up with her family in Iowa, sightseeing, and spending time with her two adopted cats, Phoenix and Aria.

Amanda Blake
Au.D.

Dr. Amanda Blake is a native to southern Nevada. She completed her undergraduate work at the local community college and Nevada State College, and she then attended the University of Utah to obtain her doctorate degree. She enjoys the opportunity to serve the community, which has already given her so much. Dr. Blake has Nevada state licensure for audiology. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certification of Clinical Competency (CCC-A). Dr. Blake is also a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). Dr. Blake worked in a variety of clinical settings while completing her graduate degree. In her free time, Dr. Blake enjoys spending time with her husband, serving in her church, and visiting her nephews and nieces who live nearby.

Paul Groesbeck
Au.D.

As an audiologist who’s passionate about helping patients hear their best, Dr. Paul Groesbeck remembers his own loved ones’ hearing challenges. He watched his grandparents struggle with hearing loss and saw the way it limited their interactions with family members. Dr. Groesbeck enjoys the opportunity to assist patients in overcoming their individual hearing challenges and improving their quality of life.

Dr. Groesbeck recently graduated with a Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Utah. He received a Bachelor of Science in communication disorders and a minor in gerontology at Brigham Young University.

While completing his doctorate program, Dr. Groesbeck gained clinical experience in a variety of settings, including rotations at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and the TOSH Hearing and Balance Center. His academic career also included a clinical residency at Ogden Clinic, where he served alongside ear, nose, and throat physicians to diagnose and treat patients of all ages with hearing loss and balance disorders.

When not working at Anderson Audiology, where he loves hearing people’s stories and helping expand their communication abilities, Dr. Groesbeck enjoys cooking and exploring the outdoors with his wife and young son.

Janet has been in the medical billing field for 25 years in Las Vegas She has a passion for the business end of medicine. “I am new to Anderson Audiology and excited to be a part of the expansion and such a dynamic team.” says Janet.

Julie Mortenson
MS

Julie Mortenson graduated cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Brigham Young University in 1992. She earned her master’s degree in Audiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1994. Julie holds Nevada state licensure for audiology. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).

During graduate school Julie was invited to present her research regarding Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emission (DPOAE) testing at the American Academy of Audiology. She has worked as a clinical audiologist in ENT physicians’ office and private practice settings.

Julie joined the Anderson Audiology team in 2013 and is thrilled to work with such a dedicated team of talented individuals. She is committed to helping people improve their quality of life through better hearing and communication with their loved ones. Julie enjoys testing and treating patients and has a specific interest in diagnostic assessment and hearing aid technology.

Family is Julie’s number one priority outside of the office. She and her husband Peter are blessed with 4 wonderful sons, who are their pride and joy. In addition to spending time with her family, Julie enjoys serving the youth of her church, hiking, photography, quilting, and family history research.

Rhonda Miller
Practice Manager

Rhonda, a native Nevadan, has worked with Anderson Audiology since 2004 and feels it is a privilege to work with so many talented individuals.

“As a team we are able to provide our patients with the best hearing healthcare in Southern Nevada,” said Rhonda. “Looking forward as Anderson Audiology continues to grow, I’m excited to bring our services to new neighborhoods in the valley as we continue to implement our expansion plan.”

Outside the office Rhonda enjoys time spent with her husband, children and grandchildren. Favorite activities include traveling, hiking, spectating sports and service projects in the community and church.

Jerri Klafke
Office Manager

Jerri grew up in Centerville, Utah, and moved to Las Vegas 26 years ago, when she was first introduced to Doctors Dave and Lan Anderson. “They are two of the best men I know, and I feel it a pleasure to work in the wonderful environment they have created at Anderson Audiology.” Jerri loves getting to know the patients as well as her co-workers and is grateful for everyone’s kindness.

Jerri and her husband, Wes, have a wonderful family that is ever growing with marriages and grandchildren. They loves traveling to new sites and visiting their family members, who live in many different states.

Winna Hesser
Office Manager

Originally from Cedar City, Utah, Winna moved to Las Vegas in 1991. She joined Anderson Audiology in March 2016, and she brings several years of customer service experience with her. Winna loves meeting new patients and catching up with existing patients, and she looks forward to building strong relationships with coworkers and patients here for many years to come.

Oscar was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and has been in Las Vegas for 8 years. He came to us with with over 20 years of Customer Service experience. He thoroughly enjoys being able to help people and make a difference in their lives no matter how minuscule it may be. "If I had a a song to pick describe myself, it would be 'Easy Like Sunday Morning' as I am usually very easy going and cheerful. Unless, I haven't eaten it would be 'It is Okay to Feed The Bear' or else he might steal your picnic basket." says Oscar. Oscar joined Anderson Audiology in June of 2018.

Sharon became a part of the Anderson Audiology family by being a patient first! She was so impressed by the care and attention she received, she knew she wanted to be a part of it. Sharon grew up in Minnesota and has been in Las Vegas for 6 years. She has over 34 years of experience providing excellent customer service. In her free time she loves to read, hike, walk, and travel with her husband to visit her children and grandchildren.
