What to Expect Decatur
What to expect at your first appointment
Our goal is to be your partner in finding solutions for your hearing health care needs. At your first appointment we will perform a comprehensive diagnostic test. This four-step process begins with a conversation with your Audiologist, so they can understand your medical and hearing health history. They will look in your ears to make sure there are no wax obstructions and that your ears are healthy. You will then go into the sound proof booth for your diagnostic testing. Lastly, your Audiologist will go over all the results of the testing and if necessary, explain the next step to improved hearing. This appointment typically lasts about an hour and a half and is covered by most insurances.
There are many styles of hearing instruments. Selecting the appropriate size and style is important when choosing a hearing instrument. Let the professionals at Anderson Audiology show you actual models. See and hear for yourself the amazing sound quality these instruments provide.
The purpose of this hearing assessment and/or demonstration is for hearing wellness to determine if the client(s) may benefit from using hearing aids. Products demonstrated may differ from products sold. Test conclusion may not be a medical diagnosis. The use of any hearing aid may not fully restore normal hearing and does not prevent future hearing loss. Testing is to evaluate your hearing wellness, which may include selling and fitting hearing aids. Hearing instruments may not meet the needs of all hearing-impaired individuals. One offer per customer. Insurance benefit, including Managed Care or federal reimbursements, cannot be combined with any of our promotional offers, coupons or discounts. Other terms may apply. See office for details.
